There was a time I sat with tears in my eyes and whispered to God,
“Lord, what was all this for?
Why did You let me go through so much pain?”
Maybe you’ve asked Him that too.
You think about the years you spent loving, trying, hoping, and holding on, only for things to fall apart.
You look back and wonder if you lost yourself in the process.
“This marriage made me lose myself.”
“This relationship set me back.”
But the Lord began to teach me that nothing you went through was wasted.
Every tear, every heartbreak, every silent night became a tool in God’s hands to shape you into the woman He designed you to be.
Some women find their purpose in the boardroom. Some find it in motherhood. And some, like you and I, find it in the ashes, where God births beauty from pain.
You may feel like you were delayed or derailed, but Heaven calls it preparation.
God has been using your experiences to refine you, not to ruin you.
He’s been shaping your heart, building resilience, and preparing you for the woman you’re about to become.
Sis, your story is not over.
Your pain is not pointless.
You are not behind, you are right on time in God’s plan.
Today's Declaration: Lord, I thank You that nothing in my life has been wasted. You are turning my pain into purpose, my tears into testimony, and my waiting into becoming. I may not understand it all, but I trust that You’re working everything for my good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Affirmation for Today: I didn’t lose those years, I was being prepared. God is still writing my story, and it will be beautiful.
